It does annoy me how unnecessarily small Nintendo decided to make them. I mean, who would look upon a GBA or even a normal GB cart and think "Man, these things are huge! So cumbersome to carry!". DS games are ridiculously tiny and easy to lose.

It was more a point that the DS can play GBA games anyway. I would've just used the same cartridge slot for DS games too.

Ever held a CF card, or worse.. An SD card? Or, dare I ask.. a miniSD card? Or *GASP* a microSD card? I've never lost any of those.





From left to right (with DS Lite as comparison):

USB Thumbdrive, CompactFlash, Sony MemoryStick PRO, USB µSD/TF adapter, SecureDigital, GBA cart (lite), NDS card, microSD/TransFlash, Sony MemoryStick Micro. Personally, if you compare it to some of the other flash media, the DS card is actually pretty decently sized. Larger than an SD card, smaller than a CF card.

For Tetris DS, to be over 7000, you really either need to learn t-spins, or you need to be extremely fast. For 8000 you need both.

Just concentrate on practising doubles. Play slower against the CPU4, and just concentrate on making opportunities for doubles, so that eventually you'll just see the opportunities naturally. Most of the other setups aren't as convenient and have more risk involved, but if you can use t-spin doubles with as much ease as you can use Tetrises (and it doesn't take that long to pick it up) then you'll easily shoot up by 500 wifi points or more.

When you do play one, they tend to leave if they see you mean trouble... Then you'll lose the usual 1 out of 50 against a 6000, only to end up doomed in the 7000-7500 range... RAGE

I've been getting that almost continually lately. I don't even bother to try to connect, I can only get on after like 30 minutes worth of trying. Sucks battery like hell too, and you can't auto-retry, you have to keep pressing the buttons.

if you have bowel movements over water, you might be shit out of luck. according to every Verizon commercial i've seen wi-fi doesn't work around water. wi-fi only works when you're in a cage surrounded by depressed people.

That said though, I think it would have been nicer to split this board into 3 separate categories, one for each online mode. It makes little sense to group all the ratings into one unless the goal is to obtain the highest rating regardless of mode. I realize it might be too late for that though as we'll need everyone to resubmit their highest for each particular mode. Most of the players on this list are probably not even active now.
