Torus (http://www.benjoffe.com/code/games/torus/) is an HTML5 game (Javascript + Canvas) polymino game where the playfield is well shaped and where you are given other pieces than tetramino. The concept otherwise is the same as Tetris.

Clever.

I've seen this idea done somewhere before, but this particular version is quite nice; it even has ARS wallkicks!!

Haha, just kidding... but it does have some form of wallkicks though.

This is really fun. It just needs to get rid of the random polyominoes and needs to add a clearly defined ceiling. Proper controls would help too but up-to-rotate (http://tetrisconcept.net/forum/showthread.html?t=1541) appears to be so rusted in as the defacto control scheme I don't think we'll ever be able to get rid of it for "casual" tetris games like these.

Really nice concept. Random minos are a bit irritating, and similar complaints to muf, but it's pretty well done otherwise.

There's actually two rotation buttons though! Space rotates the opposite direction as up, oddly enough. I have to orient my fingers really weirdly, but I can actually get close to a more normal two-rotation-button config.
