this is what i fear and will probably happen.

i'm really enjoying Texmaster, no doubt about it. But performing it on the original after will probably cut down the happiness to a simple formality. But thinking about it, it might have been the same on a time for players who used Heboris...

This is my first serious attempt at Death in quite a while. I played about 20-30 games and this was the best I could manage:

The time was pretty good, and I got a silver SK, which was nice, but I made an embarrassing mis-drop right at the end of the 300-400 section which pretty much cost me the game.

999 around 6:45 - 6:50..


And it seems that the slowest existing Death Gms are around 6:30..

I add that I have never seen a DEATH Gm over 6:30..Even with a

M @ 3:22 with no manual locking at all after 500, and a level 999 reached at 3/4 of the matrix..

Amnesia, I can guarantee that the timing in Texmaster Sudden mode is 100% perfect; I checked it very thoroughly. And for the record, I know for a fact that J.O has achieved GM with a time close to 6:50:00, and I'm sure that other players have done it even slower.

SQR locks, and he has achieved Death GM only twice in his life. http://www.tetrisconcept.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif At least personally, I can say that I am more interested in achieving consistency. Though don't get me wrong, I try for pure speed now and then as well. It is important to have a balanced approach. But I am definitely more focused on improving my technique and strategy than raw speed.

But when DIGITAL will perform his first DEATH Gm (far after us) , his time will be violent..I would like be 100% balanced between speed and strategy, but my psycology force me to prefer stacking, strategy and esthetism..
