High score thread for shoot-em-ups, or "shooters" (as some people apparently prefer). From Cave to Raizing to Touhou, just post scores. It seems like these games are pretty well liked amongst the people here, and I think some competitiveness through leaderboards could be good.
I'll try and keep this up to date as best as I can, but I'm expecting there'll be quite a lot of leaderboards, so any assistance from moderators would be welcome. I'll try and group them by developer/publisher. Feel free to post scores from games that aren't included so far. If anything it might introduce people to new games that they've never played before.
Rules Screenshots preferred, but not mandatory. If no screen-shot, please include the data in the table surplus to the score, if applicable. You MUST use the default settings for starting lives, the number of points required for extra lives, etc. No continues (unless they reset score). This doesn't apply for Touhou if you're using a number less than the starting number for points bonuses. No tool assistance, save-states or slowdown (unless intentional by the game). For Touhou games I'll put 5% as a maximum for slowdown (subject to change by people who are better informed about this). Having a crappy computer shouldn't provide you with an advantage.
I'll add/alter rules at the suggestion of people.
