Muf expressed difficulty organising a TC Eindhoven meeting this year, and I wanted to do something in Barcelona this year, so the perfect opportunity came up to move the European TC meeting from Eindhoven to Barcelona!

We don't know the official name of the event, and this place does a lot of them so we're gonna have to invent one, but you can say Barcelona 2025 in TC in the mean time.
There will be a meetup, playing games and TGM + other puzzle games...

I just came back from talking to the Plug in City event manager and we're on to have another meeting this year!

To start off, which month would suit people best, September, October or November? Once we have a month picked we can narrow it down to a specific weekend. The meeting itself will of course again run from Thursday to (and including) Sunday.

Covid restrictions are lifting across Europe, and barring a second wave, the Dutch government is allowing events up to a certain size from September again. Plug in City has also reopened, and they are alright with hosting the event under the usual arrangement. We would be responsible for adhering to the government rules and guidelines as they will be by that time.

My personal position is that organising the event is always a big drain, which...

Initially, I thought about making a post for each of the planned events in my country. But knowing that most people would not be too happy in seeing 20-30 posts about Poland... I decided to pack things up in one post.

After the success, which was the 1st Classic Tetris Poland Championship, we decided to start more things in 2020.

Basically - I want to reach as many polish players as possible, maybe even "creating" more of them along the way.

On February 28th we're having a party at a private place from 12:30 pm till end of afternoon. We'll have two TAPs there so we'll hang there and chat with the owner/play some games.

The time is upon us to announce our annual Tetrisconcept European Meeting in Eindhoven!

Just like last year, the presence of the Classic Tetris European Championships in September means we've had to scoot over to October. Also, the presence of the Dutch Design Week from the 19th of October means we're limited to the first week of October. And so, the final date to mark in your calendars is the following:

Because it's the first edition, I am only able to provide NES Tetris tournament. But if there will be plenty of interested players, there are chances for more in the future.

I posted recently on the hard drop forums about running a competition here in Australia and it was suggested by one member that I might have more luck getting input and possible sanctioning of the event from CTWC by coming here.
