Need help - - How to install kick harness?

I have no idea how to install this ZN-2 kick harness... I can't play without it, right?

TGM1 isn't booting up at all

EDIT: I GOT IT TO WORK without the kick harness! NOW ALL I NEED TO FIND IS THE TEST BUTTON!

And done, now I just need to flip the screen in the TEST MENU.

But uhh. it's not showing that option.

I GOT EVERYTHING TO WORK, BUT MY p1 controls go up and down when I press either up or down, and my test and coin both activate when I use either...

So lost.

naw kevin decided not to sell, I lazied out and went to sophia corp. but I hope to meet up with some heavy hitters one of these days and get some records I can't dream of beating right now
