I have finally fulfilled my new year’s resolution (sub 11:30)!

 

Minor progress after years ...

 

after playing this game on/off for 2 years on a stock 8-way hayabusa stick and having a good handful of games that died at >950 on pace, i bought a sanwa jlf, swapped it in, and finally beat this game after 45 minutes
i'm free

 

this makes it less likely the first time was a fluke (also sorry for double posting)

 

finally fucking got an s4. i wasted like a minute at the 499 level stop i really should try not doing that

I mean, it's not enough to move me up a spot, but it is a MAME pb

 

Finally a meaningful improvement. I'm quite happy with this game, although I made a massive mistake in early 20G that easily cost me 10s or more.
Sub 10:30 is coming into reach!

Finally got a sub 12 min time, first GM on my astro city too.

 

Yesterday got an 11:18, and today, finally sub 11:

Hi guys,

After about two years of playing TGM I've finally cracked GM!

Many thanks to legend xyrnq (https://tetrisconcept.net/members/xyrnq.1826/) for all his help - he critiqued a video of mine a while back which really made a huge difference.

No video yet but I'll hopefully record one over the next couple of months if I get a chance.

Loving this game heaps, can't wait to get stuck into TAP!

After months of grinding, finally managed to get GM! 30s faster than our previous best clear too!
