Trip to the US

  1. Hi everyone,
I'll be in the US for the next two weeks, and I'll be spending a few days in each one of these cities: Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC.
If you have some places you recommend or some fellow TGM players that want to meet, I'm interested ^^

  2. @KevinDDR I asumme you'd be fit for being a tour guide, right? :p

  3. Seattle is quite far from the east coast :D

  4. Maybe going to Victory Pointe???? I have no idea where stuff is though. @JBroms ?

  6. I'll be in DC on this weekend, 11th and 12th of august.
Great, we can meet there, do you know how to get to Laurel from downtown Washington ?

  7. You can either take I-295 north or US 1 north. It's at 198 Laurel Race Track Road, Laurel, MD

I'll be there pretty much all day on Saturday. It's $15 to get in, $5 more if you want to enter the Puyo Puyo Tetris tournament.

  8. I don't have a car here in the US, so I was thinking more about some way of going there using public transport.
Saturday afternoon sounds great, I'll be arriving in DC around 1PM, so I can be there a bit later.

  10. Ah, okay. There's a commuter rail that goes to Laurel Park, but looking further into it it doesn't appear to operate on weekends.

I could always just give you a ride.

  11. We played doubles for 2 hours and the closest we got was 299 - 300

If it hadn't been vanilla MAME with a keyboard and an 8-way stick I'm sure we would have had at least one completion.

  12. The meetup was really fun but I lost at the PPT tournament :D
I think that installing Mame on one of Xanadu's PC was still a great idea even if the setup wasn't great.
We were so close to clear doubles a few times that I was so pissed we didn't have enough time to try a bit more.
