Hello, i need some help so, if this post is too noob, please, just ignore it ;D I started to play while ago and need to know some things: * Should i train with HOLD queue? [Modded. Please read the rules.] * How can i play TGM 3 ? Thanks for your time
Playing with the hold function would be advised for any game that has it. If it's there to use, then use it. However, don't rely on it so much that you can't play well without it. You should become comfortable playing both with and without hold. To play TGM3 you need to either go to Japan and play it in Japanese arcades, or Acme Bowl in Seattle or maybe live near a TC member who has it and is generous enough to let you play it. Or you could buy it yourself if you're willing to fork out the cash. Best alternative to playing the real thing if none of the above really apply to you would probably be some sort of gameplay clone such as Texmaster, which is easily found on the forum.
thanks alot guys, really helped me just more one dought i play tetris on my PC, some times, i need to move the tetrimoes extremely left or right, then i have to dash 4 times left or right, thats is really bad on high-speeds, how can i adjust the sensitive of my directionals?
i use a joystick with my computer.. it's one of the funnest things ever! gamepads are easy to hook up also. with your keyboard you can always adjust the key delay/repeat to your liking. i just can't get into it with the computer keyboard.
Players learn to never need to use such moves. Watch time attacks and you'll see how people get by without even double-tapping a direction.
You can and do need to doubletap when a game has slow autoshift and/or slow DAS. When you are playing a good game with 1g autorepeat, then you can avoid doubletapping in most cases. In many other games, the fastest way to get a piece to the edge is to tap repeatedly.
This typically won't affect anything. The autorepeat tends to be hardcoded, and any sensitivity options would be provided in-game.
