I'm finding Ti's Master Mode significantly harder than TAP's Master Mode, in terms of getting the same grade. Here's my current skill level: TGM1: GM in about 12 minutes. TAP Master: S7, cleared disappearing roll. I can definitely improve this, I just need to learn how to stack better after level 700 or so. The speed at level 900 is not a major issue. Ti Master: S6, usually obtained by getting 6 COOLs and boosting up from grade 1. The farthest I have made it is level 670 or so. My problem is that while I do not have much problem stacking in 20G at moderate speeds (such as TAP Master level 900), I find it extremely hard to stack well at speeds beyond that. For example, while I usually have S1 in TAP Master by level 550 or so, I have only once ever managed to get an S1 (without the COOL boosts) in Ti at all. That time, I missed one of the COOLs and ended up with an S6 anyway. For comparison, here's my usual TAP Master game: Level 0-550: Almost all Tetrises. I have grade S1 by now. Level 550-899: I usually rely on doubles to boost my grade at this point, with the occasional triple and Tetris. I can consistently get my grade up to S6 here. The speed boost at level 700 does not seem to affect my performance. Level 900-999: The majority of my line clears here are singles, as I tend to screw up and top out if I attempt to set up higher line clears. I usually manage to get up to S7 at the end. And here's my usual Ti Master game: Level 0-299: Almost all Tetrises, much the same as TAP Master. Level 300-499: Mostly doubles, with the occasional triple and Tetris. Level 500-599: Mostly singles, the same as level 900+ in TAP Master. I almost always get grade 1 by this point, although I'm aiming for S1. Level 600+: The speed here is almost the same as Death 500. I quickly screw up and lose. The farthest I've made it is about level 670. I almost always manage to obtain six COOLs, boosting my grade up from 1 to S6. Essentially, the speed boosts caused by the COOLs in Ti Master tend to screw me up rather badly, and their grade boosts do not do enough to compensate. Any tips?
Putting aside you probably experience display lag.. Ti real speed start from lvl 400 if you got all cool. More than reflex, Ti require experience in anticipated placement decision. Even if you are mentally very tired you can still handle shirase 1100+ speed if you already plan the second next. reflex is only required on misdrop. you must learn desynchronisarion of what you see, and what your hands do Try as much as you can to concentrate on the second next from low G. of course you must have great experience in piece manipulation without thinking about it..
