i got them both to work in mac os 10.6 for the usb 360 controller you need this driver http://mac.softpedia.com/progChangelog/Xbox-360-Controller-driver-Changelog-15138.html the ps3 controller surprisingly works out of the box with 10.6 look for devices in the bluetooth menu. (tip: turn off your ps3 completely, connecting it with the usb cable once might help) you can configure them both with this http://www.carvware.com/gamepadcompanion.html works great with tetris friends, etc.
