Hey all, this has been happening to me recently, and I was curious if it's happened to anyone else.

Basically I'll be in the game, playing with a few people, they either lose and/or drop out and it winds up just me playing, someone getting 2nd, 3rd, etc., but it won't stop my screen and name me the winner. Then people come and go in the lobby, some saying "hey man are you going to start the game" and some observing that I'm still playing against myself.

I racked up 200,000 points sitting here doing this until it got too late and I called it in for the night, but the next time it happens I plan on taking it to 900,000, like a bastard. I knew those guys that weren't TC guys got that high somehow, and this is probably how. Has it happened to anyone else? Anyone know exactly what's going on?

And yes, Splash is shit. It's fun making the American casuals freak out, though.

Haven't noticed this yet, will watch out for it.

Persoanlly I don't find Splash shit, it does take a while to come up against anybody decent but it does happen. There is also the new game I play where I add an extra beer each evening to my total and still see if I can thrash everybody. I find 8 is about my limit.

  3. Yeah that has happened to me before. I haven't been on Splash for ages though. Anywho, I do know that is the way some of the high scores got on the leaderboards. But every time it has happened to me and I purposely play for a high score, the score did not upload. [IMG]

Whoa, are you saying when it happened to you, and then you tried to make a high score out of it, it didn't post? Did you exceed 999,999 or something?

  5. If I remember correctly I was somewhere in the mid 700,000. Ended it, but the score didn't upload. This was several months ago, have not been doing too much multi-player when I have played.
