I've been playing Ti on Heboris for a few weeks now, and I've been wondering just how the game decides when to give a regret. I was just playing and I got like 2-3 back to back Tetrises, and on my next Tetris it was all Back-to-Back REGRET. I only managed to get one more Tetris after that, and it gave me a COOL. Why does it give me a REGRET on a Back-to-Back? And another side question, how fast do I have to clear the first 500 levels before it will let me keep playing?
http://www.tetrisconcept.com/wiki/index ... nd_REGRETs This is how it is in the real arcade game, don't know if it's exactly like that in Heboris.
you need to get to 500 in under 7:00 you'll see those regrets when you fail to meet criteria at 100 section increments. i'm just starting to shake them off a bit, you need to be fast to avoid them. heboris regrets easier then texmaster. the wiki says you need to clear 100 in under 1:30, and while this holds true in texmaster, i still get them in heboris clearing it under 1:20, I think i'v gotten them being under 1:15
That's because Texmaster only implements section regrets; Heboris also tries to imitate the other forms of regret that don't impact your grade but merely serve to tell the player they're playing bad.
