What I am not asking What Tetris games are these from? What I am asking What original compositions were these songs based on? (Play)
at least one wasn't based on an original composition, rather was an original composition within the game (pointing at tetris dx).
All of 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 are original I think. 5 is called Technotris, I'm not sure if the rest have names. As for 1, 6, 7, and 8, I don't know the names I'm afraid. Could you list what games these are from? Most are obvious but a few had me stumped.

Sorry, I don't know Russian composers that well... Safe to say none of those songs are by Rachmaninoff or Stravinsky. I've got some Russian friends, I'll try and see if they know.
Two that aren't in the recording that I'd also like to know about if you get a chance to ask: Famicom Tetris and NES Tet?is TROIKA Game Boy Tetris title screen Expect them to say "Tet-yice" at least once.
