I agree I am very slow, sometimes, I think more than 4 sec for one tetriminos..

I just got 404 in 4:15 now, you guys have to shape up. I had gold SK, and silver CO, it was sweet.


I really love going for tetrises. Because the mode is so limited, you have to play defensively. But, if you focus on remembering the piece history, you can time things so that you are ready for a tetris when the I piece is most likely. If you're not ready for a tetris and you get an I piece, it's best to clear about 3 lines so that you will be ready for the next I piece.


At the slightest hint of danger, it is best to ignore tetrises until you stabilize your screen. But it is still very possible to get some risk-free tetrises. Using this strategy, I usually get silver SK in the first section. Sometimes even gold SK.


It's lots of fun because no other mode stresses the player's randomizer awareness like this.

just played it a bit. only one good run. got silver AC, gold SK, silver CO, pretty cool. too bad i died so foolishly of one stupid mistake, so this won't enter the ranking table, but what the hell, i'm bored so i'm posting a screenshot:

 

I don't think I've even broken level 200 yet on big mode. Items or no items, I always die around 150.
