just a minor hitch (well, more of an inconvenience). it seems that if you're logged into one of the dummy accounts, and someone else logs into the same account, you'll get kicked from the game. the other player will be able to pick up where you left off, and you'll have to try to login to the other account. this isn't a bad thing really, because if it happens it means there's always someone playing and earning TP. when the tournament starts, we'll have to make sure that nobody is trying to login while a match is being played. it shouldn't be too hard if a heads up is given at IRC when you're starting your match or trying to login. but for the time being, i wouldn't really worry about it. edit: update 11/02 account 1 preview: 3 DAS: 3 soft drop: 3 line clear: 2 TP: 2394 TP needed: 25604 account 2 preview: 2 DAS: 3 soft drop: 3 line clear: 3 TP: 478 TP needed: 27522 edit: update early 11/03 both accounts have DAS level 4 now! TP is the points you earn for playing games on TOJ, you can then spend these points on upgrades such as faster line clear delay, higher DAS, more piece previews or different background art/piece art. BTW - on Tetris Party Wifi, is your mii character a dude w/ big ass glasses?

Yup yup that was me, but Wifi battle ranking is broken and cheap so i dont care about that anymore lol
yeah i'm with you, it's definitely broken. No penalties for disconnects, and same rating gains/drops no matter who you're playing.
+1 on that. I've completely stopped playing when a full day of lagged play threw me back from 7090 to 6300. Might pick it up again later, but it's not very tempting.

it will be taking place over weeks i'm sure, TC has players from so many different timezones that trying to do all the matches in a day would be nearly impossible.
I'm in. Can't wait for this one. edit: Speaking of time zones, wouldn't it be a good idea to get everybody's so it would be easier to think of a time when our opponents would be awake and on IRC? I'm Eastern Time GMT -5:00 if we decide to list them.
